Why did you choose to build in Creekwood Collections?
Creekwood Collections is a vibrant and family-oriented community that fits Caliber’s niche of where we choose to build. It’s a terrific place to live, close to major roadways and the Edmonton International Airport. With a school system in place and a multitude of light commercial plazas nearby, this area is a desirable and self-sufficient community, perfect to raise a family in.

What range of home designs do you offer clients in Creekwood Collections?
As a custom builder, we are not limited to any standard or base designs. We work with our clients to build the home they want within their budget. Potential homeowners can find homes in a variety of sizes and different layouts. Following a detailed conversation with the client to determine their wants and needs, we search our expansive library of home designs to select options that most closely fit our client’s expectations and we can further modify the selected plan based on his or her vision. We create a partnership with our client, rather than just a builder/client transaction.

Who are your homes built for?
Most of our homes within this area are for homeowners who are looking to “resize.” Whether those are younger clientele who are moving up from their current home or individuals/families who are looking to move into a home that is a little smaller than their current one. Our flexibility as a builder and the customization processes we have in place allow us to cater to just about anyone.

What should someone who purchases one of your homes expect?
At Caliber, our approach is “Designing Homes — Building Relationships,” with the emphasis on the latter. We are a small family business which translates into a more personalized customer experience. There are many great builders in Edmonton, but we pride ourselves on our customer experience, which is what sets us apart. We deliver ongoing communication between all departments and the client that keeps them involved in the design and construction of their home from beginning to end. Clients have full selection of all interior and exterior finishes and are not limited to just a few select options. We work one-on-one with them to create a home to suit their lifestyle and personal taste, and we never lose sight of the fact that we are being entrusted with people’s hard-earned money to provide them a home for their family and their future. This is a privilege we take very seriously. The number of repeat customers we receive is a testament to this philosophy.

What can you tell readers about your company’s history?
Caliber Master Builder has been building homes in Edmonton and area since 2001. We have been a long-standing partner with Alberta New Home Warranty Program since the beginning and received Master Builder accreditation in 2004. Since then, Caliber has evolved into a multifaceted builder with customer service in the foreground of every home we build. We have had the pleasure and distinction of winning numerous industry awards through the years, including being a finalist for Builder of the Year.

Do you have any news or announcements you would like readers to know about?
We are extremely excited about a new home design with a triple-car garage that has been designed specifically for the lot sizes in Creekwood Collections. We will be starting a spec home shortly with this plan and can’t wait to see how it will be received. Visit our showhome for more details!

What charities or local organizations do you support in Edmonton?
Giving back to the communities we live and build in is a vital part of our internal culture at Caliber. We are proud to support the following charities with whom we have personal connections, whether that’s by volunteering, sponsoring or participating in events:
• ALS
• Excel Society
• Children’s Autism Services

What sets your company apart?
We value the relationships we form with our clients during the build process, and our clients often say how much they enjoyed the build experience. We are a tight-knit team with deep industry knowledge, and have an in-house design and drafting department that works closely with the client to design the home of their dreams. During final blueprint review, for example, a client will come to our office and meet every member at Caliber who will be involved in the build process, from our office manager to the construction supervisor and draftsperson. A large number of our tradespeople have also been with us since day one — we have a strong central core of subcontractors, so we’re all aware of each other’s expectations and this translates into exceptional workmanship in all of our homes, and as a result, happy clients.
